Hi Martin,
thank you very much for the new version. I really like the new alternating mode
as I'm thinking to buy a 3d ready DLP Projector. Is there a way to generate a
vesa sync compatible signal (left: 5v (on), right: 0V (off), see
http://www.stereo3d.com/vesa3.htm , maybe including an adjustable delay time to
compensate the delay caused by video processing in the display device)? This
could be used for IR-Emitters to sync (including NVIDIA 3D-Vision Emitter which
has a VESA input). Maybe this can be done trough the parallel port. There was a
project SoftGenLock
http://netjuggler.sourceforge.net/Download/SoftGenLock-HTML/index.html but I
was never able to compile it...
Best,
Daniel

Bino 1.3.1 is released!
This is a development version intended for testing only. The internal structure
has changed completely.
- A new output mode "Left/right view alternating" (aka "frame
sequential") has been added. This is an alternative to "OpenGL
stereo" mode that works with all graphics cards, and it can be
used for e.g. for "3-D Ready" projectors.
- Does anyone have NVIDIA 3D Vision glasses or other USB-driven shutter
glasses? It should be possible to make these work with the new
alternating output mode and 120Hz displays.
- On Ubuntu 11.10, this release works with the proprietary graphics
drivers from AMD and NVIDIA, but not with the free drivers (Nouveau:
driver crashes; AMD: rendering is too slow to keep up).
- On Windows, the NVIDIA drivers work fine, but Tim Sampson reported
problems with his AMD card. It may be a driver problem or a bug in
Bino.
- Can anyone test with Intel graphics?
- This release requires GLEWmx; it does not fall back to GLEW anymore.
