Hi Martin!

Just made a few tests and it's much better. Tested with half-sbs and
full-sbs video, each one with and without subtitles. Video is now very
smooth, regardless of subtitles being displayed or not. Only a few frames
being dropped, but I can only tell from looking at the StdErr output.
Just noticed that sometimes, when a new subtitle appears, you can see for an
instant (probably a single frame) the previous subtitle.
Also, thanks for the subtitle shadow switch. Great work!

I just pushed some improvements to the subtitle rendering code.
It should be faster now. Can you test the latest version? (It also includes
a switch to turn shadows off).
