I use gtk-gnutella (http://gtk-gnutella.sourceforge.net/), but lately
have been crazy about Bittorrent (http://bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/).
Bittorrent works by distributing data streams between all the nodes so
you utilize your bandwidth to the maximum.
Well worth a look.
