I agree that there isn't much after the initial "code or something else" part in the beginning. I think it would be worth sharing your feedback with the folks running the survey... I may even send a similar note.

I found the survey a little hard. It is definitely a FLOSS survey, and I didn't find it especially friendly as a non-technical contributor/lady near technology.
