[Bug-AUCTeX] 11.81; Compiled for Emacs 23 or later

Hello!

I compiled the recent AUCTeX with GNU Emacs 23 and installed in a 
directory that is in the load-path of all my other Emacsen. One of 
them, Aquamacs Emacs, now complains:

I assumed it wouldn't make a difference which Emacs compiled AUCTeX ...

(Could be there is an issue with the Japanese base of Aquamacs Emacs! 
If AUCTeX is intended to become usable in GNU Emacs 22 although 
compiled by GNU Emacs 23 then I'll investigate further in this case. If 
not, then it's of course no bug.)
