Hi.
A word with discretionary hyphen is spell-checked as if it consists of
several words. In the above example (hyphe\-nated) the system proposes
to change `hyphe', e.g., to `hyphen', whereas `hyphenated' is a
correct word.
BTW, IMO it is a good idea to change the face used to display `\-' to
something less bright, e.g., use `sedate' face instead of `warning'
and it would be nice if `\-'s disappear on folding.
