You still haven't mentioned which TeX system you use.  If it's anything
like TeX Live you should be able to activate the file_line_error_style
option in texmf.cnf or add the -file-line-error command line switch to
`LaTeX-command-style' in AUCTeX.  You could use `M-x customize-variable
...' for that.
