Dear Automake maintainers,
this is a refinement for my question concerning "automake 1.5
distclean target".
The non-removal of `Makefile' during "make distclean" only occurs at
the top level directory. Subdir-Makefiles are removed.
Please do not hesitate to request further information, if needed.
