Yes, or even better, accumulate a list of failures, and rerun them
capturing a verbose log, like autoconf does.
Attached below is the output of
env VERBOSE=x TESTS='man2.test' make -e check
on the NetBSD 1.6 system. It isn't clear to me what is going wrong
here: there isn't an obvious problem report that I can spot in the
output.
For reference, on this system, we have
% uname -a
NetBSD netbsd.vm.math.utah.edu 1.6 NetBSD 1.6 (GENERIC) #0: \
Sun Sep 8 19:43:40 UTC 2002 \
address@hidden:/autobuild/i386/OBJ/autobuild/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC \
i386 i386 Intel Pentium III (Katmai) (686-class) NetBSD
% sed --version
GNU sed version 4.0.7
% gcc --version
gcc (GCC) 3.2.2
% perl --version
This is perl, v5.8.0 built for i386-netbsd
% gawk --version
GNU Awk 3.1.2
% make --version
GNU Make 3.80
Here is the requested test run:
