automake preserve "enviroment variables" on command line, its a great
feature, but it doesn't preserve them correctly, ie when there s a space in
them.
./configure LIBS="-L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/pkg/lib"
CPPFLAGS="-I/usr/pkg/include"
$ ./configure LIBS=-L/usr/pkg/lib -Wl,-rpath,/usr/pkg/lib
CPPFLAGS=-I/usr/pkg/include
