Thanks for your report. We need more details of the failures in
order to understand them; you can get a verbose run by simply
executing any failing test from the command line (see also
tests/README).
Could you pick a few tests, and a send there full output here?
No need to run all of them, just of few from each these two groups:
Gianfranco> FAIL: depcomp4.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ldadd.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ldflags.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libobj13.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool2.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool3.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool5.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool6.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool7.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: libtool8.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: listval.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltcond.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltcond2.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltconv.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltdeps.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltlibobjs.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: ltlibsrc.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: nobase.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: pr72.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: pr211.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: pr300-ltlib.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: pr307.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: reqd2.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: stdlib2.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: subobj9.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: suffix2.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: suffix5.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: suffix8.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: suffix10.test
I suspect the above failures are related to you libtool
installation. What version are you using?
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo3.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo13.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo16.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo18.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo22.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo23.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo24.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo25.test
Gianfranco> FAIL: txinfo28.test
These seem related to tex.
