madfu-firmware-0.7 -- MAUDIO TRANSIT USB -- SUSE 9.2

hi,
trying to install this software in order to get MAUDIO TRANSIT USB 
running on my ASUS A4700 Laptop in SUSE 9.2 prof. I get the message that 
AUTOMAKE and PERL might not be installed (see below)
but these packages are existent and installed on my system! The only 
difference is: my AUTOMAKE package has versionno: 1.9...
It would be great if I could obtain any hints to fix this and get my 
card working
