Please be more specific.  You have Autoconf 2.62 installed, you are
configuring Automake X.Y, and what exactly happens?  Please cut and
paste output and config.log excerpts.

Where's that file from?  Is your Autoconf self-built, or some distro
package (which distro, which package version)?
