Ok, done in the attached patch.  The automake testsuite still runs
correctly on my system (debian testing/unstable), with all of `bash', 
`dash', and `zsh4 --no-function-argzero'.

However, the tests `automake.test' and `instspc.test' fail with ksh 
version "sh (AT&T Research) 93t+ 2009-05-01"

I must say that these tests fail to work with ksh also in in the
`origin/master' branch, so at least this is not a regression.
Probably I will investigate these failures when I'll have time.
