[Bug][Bash Posix] Inquiry about Contributing to the Project

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to inquire about the 
possibility of contributing to your project.

Recently, I discovered a potential bug in the 'bash --posix' terminal and I 
believe I have a fix that could resolve this issue. Before proceeding, I wanted 
to confirm if this is an open-source project where external contributions via 
pull requests are welcomed.

I am eager to contribute to the improvement of this project and would 
appreciate any guidance you could provide on how to proceed.
