Hello Nick,
I have check that reverting both 35fd2ddeb1d90f1750401cfb6d01fe055656b88d and
4ee1d7e401a8c1aedfdc86aac7faa8267eab1e5c commits on top of the master git
branch fixes hints in import libraries generated by dlltool and ld.
It can be verified by the objdump -p improvements done in bug #31738.
So if there were any other issues than this issue then they were fixed.
