I can tell that this new found celebrity is a little overwhelming for him but he is very genuine about it.
This trailhead is great because its right off the highway!
I was eavesdropping on people while standing there waiting.
Turns out it was RocketBoom interviewing webcam folks. I thought I would try without. No long dirt roads for once. I don't think he had talked to anyone yet.
He jogged over and used the port-o-pot. She had to do some convincing to Dohn but he opted to be a good sport and take part.
No long dirt roads for once. That was a worthy accomplishment.
But then again I was happy because I knew I had this thing in the bag.
Always a new phenomenon for those that haven't done hiking in it before. This trailhead is great because its right off the highway!
This is the clear case where if you spend some money, you get to transition faster.
Held my own on the bike but was the slowest. It has sections on everything. I swam twice and my biking is just moving from beginner to intermediate. Most don't wear them. However, Dohn wasn't sure what was going on with his well maintained body. He jogged over and used the port-o-pot.
Can't wear the watch in the water. I was able to hang and let my dead legs do minimal muscle work.
I had to finish so I headed off. Natalee was ready to go.
But I was just glad that I finished and didn't shit my pants! Everybody was pretty stoked to see him. My visitors started getting a taste of the altitude at this point. I knew they were going to be there so it was my big goal all through the swim and bike. Natalee was doing well with it. No more concert tickets in hand right now. However, one thing I found in the GPS data was that the bike distance was less than the advertised distance.
Can I meet you tomorrow? But on that transition to the bike I was way way too slow.
My team was featured in a case study in the book.
Lots of big loose rocks. Everybody was pretty stoked to see him. My big issue is that I can't swim in a damn straight line.
