I don't think sun will change this. For the same reason that some zip classes
actidently expose some constants. If IBM or BEA were to implement this
differently then I would ask them to change it, and Sun probably would too.
Some leyway is given in non-algrothimic classes, but those in util should be as
backwards compadible as possible.

I think you understand my position by now. Close the bug if you want, and state
your philosophical reason for your choice. Please do not continue to ask me to
justify myself.
