OK, this bug may be due to the wierd way that MegaMek manages multiple screens
(multiple buttons that inhabit the same screen real estate that are managed
with a CardLayout).
I've built CVS HEAD of Classpath, Cacao, and JamVM, and the latest "stable"
release of MegaMek (-r rel-0-30-0). I then host a game, select a single unit,
and start to play the game. When I leave the mouse pointer over the "Done"
button while the phase changes, click events are not being recognized. The
"focus rectangle" is present on the button, but I have to move the mouse out
of, and then back to the "Done" button to get it to recognize click events.
