[Bug awt/27700] Graphics2D.drawImage(Image, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, int, Color, ImageObserver) creates an uninvertable AffineTransform

Whoops, I thought your program was calling the drawImage method which takes an
AffineTransform. Apparently not, so the error is indeed on our side.
