A better workaround patch - no Mauve regressions.

Ae, the previous patch introduces one Mauve regression that can be eliminated
by removing the whole logical construct (two sentences, enclosed in the 'if').
This modification causes no Mauve regressions in javax.swing.text (70 fails
before and 70 after). Probably the construct was compensating some other bug
and is no longer needed. Same as previous, this patch revives HTMLDocument,
allowing to work on the HTML classes.
