Confirmed. I just created a simplified html page, and the applet now starts
(with current classpath cvs and jamvm):

I guess that classpath just exposed a bug in my html code (there was no
way to run this applet before the Graphics2D rework). However, I still
have no clue about what exactly is wrong with the file; we tested with
Mozilla, Firefox, konqueror and MSIE...

There are some redraw problems once the applet has started, but I already
reported these as bug swing/28027.
