Stop right there, this is an IBM provided spu-gcc.  I should know I help
provide spu-gcc to IBM and only the trunk (4.3.0) has spu-elf support.

Also this could be internal constant folding issue, without a testcase we will
never know.

Also it is best if you try out the trunk (though there is a known issue with
the constant folding there but there is a patch on the way).
