Subject: | [Bug classpath/35274] New: Building current Classpath with javac on ppc64 requires a higher memory limit than 512mb |

The dumb max limit (-J-Xmx) is biting us again on ppc64. Upping the limit to 768mb fixes this. Note that is a maximum, it doesn't mean it will use that amount of memory on all platforms. The build uses around ~680mb on javac/ppc64 (cacao as VM). -- Summary: Building current Classpath with javac on ppc64 requires a higher memory limit than 512mb Product: classpath Version: 0.96.1 Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P3 Component: classpath AssignedTo: unassigned at gcc dot gnu dot org ReportedBy: gnu_andrew at member dot fsf dot org http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=35274
