The output of
$ uniq --help
contains the line
" -W, --check-fields=N compare no more than N fields in lines"
but in the Info entry for "uniq" the above option is not mentioned. I
checked the updated web page
http://www.gnu.org/software/coreutils/manual/html_node/coreutils_29.html#SEC29
The problem could be solved by adding the following text:
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
`-W N'
`--check-fields=N'
Compare N field on each line (after skipping any specified
fields and characters). By default the entire rest of the lines
are compared.

Perhaps it would be good to insert some additional remarks about how
the -W and -w option behave when they are used simultaneously.
