Fwd: Probem with join and accentuated characters

 Hi,

Join in coreutils 5.3.03 gives incomplete results when the two files
include french accentuated characters. (for instance
é|è|â|ï|ü|ê|ç|î|ô|û|ü|ë|à|ù) .Results are okay when I have only one
text file with accentuated characters.
>From rand.txt which have 4466 lines and Graphemes.txt which has
128919. (and include all the words in rand.txt), I get 450 lines in
sortie.txt instead of the 4466 I'm waiting for.

Files are sorted.
Files have the same format.
I had this problem with Cygwin, GnuWin32, UnixUtils and WinXP.
