Dear ls maintainer,
I would like to suggest a subtle tweak to ls. Almost every time
I try to sort a list of files by their age, I use "--sort=date".
ls helpfully informs me that 'date' is an invalid argument for '--sort',
however, i consistently fail to remember this. I have asked several
of my acquaintances, and it turns out some of them have the same
experience.
So, I would like '--sort' to accept 'date' as an argument, which
would have the same result '--sort=time' currently has.
Thank you for your time,
Kuno Woudt.
