For the German translation, please contact the email addresses at
the start of the file po/de.po as they are in charge of that.

That might be true for Linux but it is not true for other operating
systems. Coreutils attempts to be portable, and the uname
documentation uses the more generic wording. For example, on Solaris 10:
$ uname -v
Generic_118822-18
