I don't think anyone on this list has any idea of what you're talking
about.  This list is about coreutils, and has nothing to do with mysql,
gentoo, or general linux questions.  You need to post your question to a
mysql forum, and include *exactly* what commands you are typing, the
*exact* output, what you expected to happen, etc.  Your message does not
include nearly enough information.
