Well... in the case I was describing, to get it working you'd also have
to alter the program nohup is calling, not just the thing that runs nohup.
One might not have permission (or source) to modify that.

But:  Reasonable point, anwyay.  It's a corner case of a corner case.
And since nobody's chiming in to agree that this is a worthwhile idea,
I'll drop the subject now. :)
