Just as a style thing, it's better to parenthesize expressions that
cross line boundaries, e.g.:
(! f->stat_ok ? "?"
: human_readable (ST_NBLOCKS (f->stat), buf, human_output_opts,
ST_NBLOCKSIZE, output_block_size))
