                Severity:              3 - Normal => 1 - Wish               
                  Status:                    None => Wont Fix               
             Open/Closed:                    Open => Closed

Follow-up Comment #1:

Thanks for the suggestion, but the bar is pretty high for making a change
like that.  You'd have to come up with more justification.

If the quotes cause trouble when you copy/paste cp -v output (to a shell
prompt!?!), just don't do that.  If for some reason you really want to use
that output, filter it through e.g., tr '`' '''

Alternatively, you can use a different locale.  In some, quote marks are
rendered as << >>-like characters.
