Mail sent to the bug-coreutils address is frontended into a bug
tracking system.  Every email received opens a new bug ticket.  Your
email to bug-coreutils therefore opened a bug ticket requesting that
another bug ticket be re-opened.  Ugh!  :-(

I know that bug tracking systems are complicated.  Let me guide you
through this one.

Please send your message to the previous bug ticket.  It has an email
address.  Even though Pádraig said he was going to close it it turns
out he didn't actually close it.  Even if he did close it though you
would still be free to send additional information to it.

Please send a message to the previous bug and describe your additions
to it.  Here is the email address for it.

And that is all there will be to it then!  And so I am going to
merge this bug ticket with the original.  :-)
