That's good news.
I've asked at [1] now they know what's going on, how programs might best distinguish buggy instances of openzfs.
Maybe "configure" could do a "modinfo zfs" or a "cat /sys/modinfo/zfs/version"? Admittedly that's *quite* a hack and of course wouldn't be that reliable.
PS. Is there some way to arrange for this OpenZFS patch to be backported to Fedora relatively quickly? (I ask as a Fedora user. :-)
