Problem compiling ddd-3.2.1, PannedGE.C

    I'm having problem building ddd on my RedHat Linux system.
    g++ is giving the compile error below.  The version 
    numbers involved are:

        ddd-3.2.1
        lesstif-0.91.4-1
        g++ 2.96
        Linux version 2.2.16-22
