ddd crashes plotting a history.

Hi ! 
ddd crashed when I tried to plot the history of a simple variable. 
I had defined only two breakpoints. One at the principle and other of the
end of a subroutine of a program compiled with the new version of g77.
I got the message "starting gnuplot" as usual and it took a lot of time to
open, so y click the "close" button. Then the crash ...
Please, if you have some clue or advice about using ddd with the new g77,
I would apprecciate your sending this to
