Hm -- DDD explicitly sets the TERM variable to `dumb'. However, I
have now set up DDD
a) to ignore any ^A and ^B characters in the perldebug prompt, and
b) to explicitly set the ornaments to the empty string.
Both should work around the problem as described above.
This will be in DDD 3.3.1, available soon.
