DDD error when building logplayer.o file.

I won't get into the nitty gritty since I see that this error has already
been reported by several people and I don't wish to beat a dead horse.
After perusing the source code, I came across the comment on line 129 of
logplayer.C in the DDD 3.3.1 distribution:  "All this is really ugly.
Works well as a hack for debugging DDD, but not really worth anything
else."

I interpreted this to mean this object was not vital to the normal
functionality of DDD so removed all dependency on it by the 'ddd' binary
and lo, DDD built/ran/tested fine on my Cygwin-based PC.  I'll try tomorrow
on my HP-UX 11.00 tomorrow.  Thanks for all the work/time you guys donate.
Some of us do appreciate it.
