hello,
I've managed to build DDD under Cygwin32, running Windows XP on a P4 1500Mhz
with 256 MB RAM.
Unfortunately the program behaves badly. It will load and the window will
appear, but it will crash when I try to do anything, such as opening a file.
Internal segmentation fault. Basically the program loads up, then dies.
It's
I've attached the ~/.ddd/log, but unfortunately it doesn't say much. I
don't think cygwin is supported as a platform but I can't see why it
wouldn't work. Personally I think it's the fact that I don't have enough
memory (WinXP, X-WIndows, DDD are all running @ the same time).
Does anyone have any positive experience w/DDD running under cygwin? I've
gotten it to run but not for extremely long periods of time. I think this
is a great, great debugger, and I've used it for all my school projects.
But I've always run it under Linux. Any ideas/
thanks,
rob f.
