Hi,
thanks for DDD. I'm using it since many many years and it it a very
helpful tool.
Currently I have a lot of trouble with it. I have a standard
installation of ddd from Suse Linux version 8:
GNU DDD 3.3.1 (i386-suse-linux)
Copyright (C) 1995-1999 Technische Universität Braunschweig, Germany.
Copyright (C) 1999-2001 Universität Passau, Germany.
If I run my program which uses the QT-graphics library and I set
breakpoints, my whole interface (all running applications) gets
stuck, especially the keyboard. I still can click buttons and use the
mouse but I cannot use the keyboard anymore.
I get the following X-warnings:
Warning:
Name: node_popup
Class: XmRowColumn
XtGrabKeyboard failed.
Warning:
Name: bp_popup
Class: XmRowColumn
XtGrabKeyboard failed.
I attached a snapshot of my x-windows configuration and also the
ddd-logfile log. Additional information at the end of this mail.
I tried it with and without the "continue automatically when mouse
pointer is frozen"-setting in the ddd-preferences but this did not
help.
I did not have these problems with the Suse linux distribution 7.3.
Have you got any hint for me? Like this ddd is not usable.
Thanks and kind regards.
Dr. Anke Kölzer
