I can reproduce a segmentation fault by simply:
1) opening ddd without arguments
2) right clicking in the display area (where structures are drawn) so that a
menu comes up
3) pressing the escape key
ddd then says its seg faulted etc.
I've attached the log file.
I'm running the default ddd installation from Fedora 8.
ddd --check-configuration says:
Checking for X11 library directory... /usr/lib/X11
Checking for XKeysymDB... /usr/share/X11/XKeysymDB
No configuration problems found.
