GNU ed 1.16-rc1 is ready for testing here

Please, test it and report any bugs you find. This is planned to be the only release candidate before 1.16 stable.

GNU ed is an 8-bit clean, more or less POSIX-compliant implementation of the standard Unix line editor.

Changes in this version:

  * A valid invocation_name is now set at startup even if argc == 0.

  * Small fixes and improvements have been made to the manual.
