Hello,
I am not sure if the following is a bug or a feature :
(I use windows 98 on an ACER 720)
I type :
mkdir AA
cd AA
mkdir BB
cp -pR BB CC
I get:
cp.exe: cc: permission denied
Thanks for posting a repeatable example. Would you
please tell us the output of:
cp --version
That'll help the dev team. If you're not up to version 4.1.5,
would it be possible to try that out and report back?
Best,
Matthew
(As a completely off topic aside, I get 100-fold the hack attempts
on my systems from wanadoo.fr than from any other domain on Earth.
I wish the French systems weren't so vulnerable.)
That confuses me...
(The initial problem was that I wanted to save a file tree with cp -a , it
produced the same result)
Thanks
Frederic
