Hello,

We are planning to migrate all templated pages on gnu.org to HTML5 in
order to improve accessibility. But before doing this, deprecated tags
such as <tt>, <acronym> and <big> need to be removed.

The home page of FTPsync [0] contains one instance of <tt> that can
easily be replaced with quotes. However, I noticed that some of the
information on this page doesn't apply to FTPsync:

- the download directory is empty;
- a deb package is mentionned but there is no link;
- there is no test release.
- there is no online doc.

Something else I noticed: the Free Software Directory [1] refers to GNU
FTPsync as "decommissioned", whereas old discussions on
<ftpsync@gnu.org> gave me the impression that FTPsync was not a GNU
package yet.

To handle the home page issue, I think the easiest thing to do would be
to symlink this page [0] to the Savannah page of FTPsync [2].

If you agree, I will create this symlink at the root of www.gnu.org.
I could also ask the FSD maintainers to fix the FTPsync entry.

If you can edit the Savannah page, it might be useful to add a download
link for version 1.3.06, since there is no corresponding tag in the Git
repo. Incidentally, this version is included in FreeBSD [3].

All the best,
Thérèse
