Lol.

Actually, my ultimate aim _is_ to port the app I’m writing to Python, but as I 
don’t know the language (or any other recent language either) my first step has 
been to prototype the whole thing in gawk while at the same time learning 
Python. Python is certainly behind my fourth suggestion, as having the 
possibility to include test code in a function library is very handy.
