Their training course was also very intensive and in depth.
Tthere are exchange programs for teachers in places like Ireland, Australia, the UK etc.
The accent was definitely something they had never heard.
THat is a HUGE risk to take. So for the Marley songs, first I had them practice following the lyrics while they heard the song, then we did a listen and repeat practice for the lyrics, then we sang it with the music. GET THE DEGREE FIRST. The pay is really good and I recommend the program.
And I know this thread isn't so fresh anymore either. You can have your cake and eat it too with a teaching degree and a TESOL. It's tough to know someone in China living in America. Its too bad, but they exist. Perhaps I can even skip the Cert IV?

Dogs in China are not welcome at tourist sites or in shops. And I know this thread isn't so fresh anymore either. They were very helpful and the job placement was good.
THEN if you want to go for TESOL training, ADD that on. Their skulls are displayed to demonstrate the type of dog that is being sold. I know that my training brought so many issues up that I would not have been prepared for without it. But without one, you simply won't be able to keep everything up. At first it seemed a little scary and I did not know what to expect, but in the end it all worked out for the best and they provided exactly what they said they would. I'm used to not taking him in shops or in public areas, he's not allowed in most areas here in the states.

just gives you a bit of a head-start on getting jobs, getting climatized, etc.
I spent a good chunk of the class answering questions about the song, talking about music, and teaching new vocab, then finished up with a couple more times singing the song. Whenever we work with songs in class, I always print off the lyrics for them to follow along with. We translate each line as a class, and they really get into it.
I see, and I remember.
But I think there is a definite need for a simple, common, global organization though which we can share ideas, agree on standards, and speak with a common voice.
