Follow-up Comment #4, bug #47484 (project gettext):
I used git as I've found it very useful in getting other packages to build.
I've just downloaded
http://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/gettext/gettext-0.19.7.tar.gz
untarred
./config
make ran successfully
make check produced
# TOTAL: 411
# PASS: 392
# SKIP: 15
# XFAIL: 0
# FAIL: 4
# XPASS: 0
# ERROR: 0
Should I submit a new bug for this?
Does this make success make this bug 47484 redundant?
