Libc for MIPS

Hi,

We are interested in using the GNU C library for code 
which will eventually run on the MIPS based processor 
from QED. I have downloaded glibc-2.1.2.tar. What are 
the issues involved in porting this library to our code 
base? I didn't see MIPs listed in the configurations supported,
by the library. I'd really appreciate your input on how to go 
about porting the library.
