I have been receiving the stuff, too.
When I have time, I check the IP address recorded
by mailman software and figure out where the posting was injected
and complain to the postmaster, abuse, spam address of that ISP, etc.
Some ISPs notify me that they have taken care of the incidents
(whatever that means.)

Very cool tool.

Oh well, I have begun to suspect that a sinister force is in action
and trying to disrupt the acitivity of free software movement
by injecting thse virus/trojan software postings, except for the fact
that probably many free software programmers
are not using Win platforms (where .EXE, .SCR would make sense) 
to read these mails.

Still very, VERY annoying indeed.
