bug in glibc-2.2.2

Hi, I'm tring to upgrade glibc-2.2.1 to 2.2.2 on an i686-linux box.
The configure fails (it didn't on 2.2.1).  I run as:

       ./configure --prefix=/usr --enable-add-ons=linuxthreads

and get

checking for mig... mig
configure: error: 
*** Some critical program is missing or too old.
*** Check the INSTALL file for required versions

No mention of a program called mig in either the FAQ or INSTALL files.


What's mig?
